MW Motorsport driver Bryce Fullwood has taken out the opening Super2 Series round victory at the Adelaide 500 street circuit, and in doing so, claimed his first-ever Super2 round win.

The #16 Middys-backed Nissan driver enjoyed an exceptional weekend, winning Races 1 and 3, and finishing second in Race 2.

His victory in Friday’s first race was also his maiden Super2 Series win.

Fullwood now leads the series with six rounds remaining.

Zane Goodard enjoyed a strong weekend too, finishing third overall, which was also his best outright result in the second-tier Supercars class.

Goddard finished second, third and third over the three races, giving him a very handy position in the championship.

MW Motorsport’s third driver Tyler Everingham endured a challenging debut in the class, hampered by an incident early in the weekend that ruled him out of the first race. A steady run in Race 2 saw him finish not classified, but he rescued a result for the weekend, finishing 15th in the final race.

The next round of the Dunlop Super2 Series will be held at the Perth SuperNight event at Barbagallo Raceway on May 2-4.

“It was an unfortunate start to the weekend in qualifying. I had a mishap, just a lapse of concentration and it had costly consequences,” said Tyler Everingham.

“We were happy with Practice 1 and 2. We had a few little dramas, but I really made up for it in Race 2 and 3. I’m pretty happy with the results and it was nice to improve once we got back on track.”
